Emotional landscapes rooted in place, memory, and resilience.
Libby Curtis is a contemporary abstract artist based in Somerville, Massachusetts. Her work comes from a simple belief: you can always begin again. After surviving extreme disruption and loss, she learned that vulnerability is a superpower. Her most recent work includes emotional abstracts from places that have held her through joy and sorrow—Race Point, Nauset Beach, Plum Island. Her paintings function as environments: internal weather made visible.
